The origins of The Balance Procedure

The Balance Procedure (TBP) is unique technique created by Jenny Cox together with her husband Alan. When describing a new technique it can be difficult to get across the message about how powerful and effective it is. With this in mind Alan explains how TBP was developed.

Jenny has been a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists for many years and has worked with holistic practices for at least 25 years, teaching massage, reflexology, reikie, spiritual healing and many more, before being introduced to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

What first attracted her to EFT was the speed in which it worked, and not being satisfied with just a single energy technique Jenny and I went on a mission to find out as much as we could about the new energy techniques.

We both went to Seattle to study with Gary Craig and then Jenny went to Boston to to study Tapas Acupuncture Technique (TAT) with Tapas Fleming. Following these studies we spent time learning NLP, BSFF (Be Set Free Fast) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and then spent eight days in Findhorn, Scotland, learning about Non Violent Communication.

With all this learning we still weren’t satisfied and decided to look for something even quicker and more user-friendly. On a personal note, I in paticular was never very comfortable with the endless trawling into the past trying to find traumas to heal.

It was about this time 2007 Jenny and I started to to put our own take on things. We researched even more therapies and read masses of articles and books and as Jenny later described in her book we put everything into a pot and came up with TBP. What followed next was the launch of Jenny's book and the creation of TBP.

The reason why TBP is so effective is that you can test yourself kinetically to see if you are in alignment in what you want. More more importantly, you can instantly change those thoughts from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’.

Those who have heard of The Law Of Attraction put the thought of ‘I want ....’, visualise having it, even to the extent of feeling thankful for it, and then allow the manifesting of it but then wonder why it hasn’t come into their life.

Most people don’t realise the attraction process isn’t working because their self limiting beliefs get in their way. The subconscious is telling them that ‘people like me can’t have this’,or ‘you don’t deserve this’.

This is were the uniqueness of TBP comes in. The strange thing about self limiting beliefs is that we don’t even know we have them and we also don’t know were they came from. With TBP there is no need to know: all you do is check your energy systems using the Balance check and then free those beliefs using an easy to use technique.

TBP is not intended to stay the same and will always be expanding and growing and lately we have introduced our new 9-card pack of Balance Cards with the accompanying book. These are even more user friendly and are proving very popular. Jenny and I have introduced TBP to schools, hospitals, sports clubs and businesses and have given talks to groups ranging from The Stammerers Association to squatters in a London squat, and they all get it.
