October 17 2011: Friday November 11 (11/11/11) has been designated PTSD Day, and to mark the occasion there will be a screening of multi-award winning documentary Operation Emotional Freedom – The Answer, at the Ramada Hotel, Sutton Coldfield.

The film records the successful use of EFT to help transform a group of volunteer combat veterans from suicidal, addictive and aggressive chronic behaviours to leading normal, manageable lives without medication.

Roy Martin, who is organising the event, says: “Friday November 11 is an opportunity for us to pause, give thanks and honour those in our community and country who serve in the armed forces.

“The documentary is a remarkable story of healing and hope for trauma sufferers. Attendees at the screening can learn more about the successful treatment of post traumatic stress from studies showing the effectiveness of energy psychology with PTS and trauma.

“They will hear success stories and meet veterans, therapists and organisations interested in helping those veterans in our community with PTS and their families. They can also participate in discussions and voice their ideas on trauma and post traumatic stress on this day of honour and support for all military families.”

Roy adds that the day is free to attend and open to anyone interested in the field. “The hotel is donating us the room and all we will ask for is a donation to cover the costs of refreshments and the like. Any surplus we’ll use for future events associated with the documentary so we can connect and create greater awareness and momentum in getting EFT and energy psychology into the mainstream as a therapy for veterans and first responders with PTSD and trauma.

“We welcome organisations interested in helping or working with veterans and their families as well as those who would like to help the emergency services.”

The day starts off at 10am and ends around 3.30pm in the Quayside Suite at the Ramada Hotel. Places are limited so those wishing to attend should contact Roy at or call him on 0121 439 8955.
