Cancer specialist joins York 2014 panel

Dr Kate James, known to many for her work using EFT in an integrated medical approach to cancer care, has agreed to present at the next EFT Gathering in York
After qualifying as a medical doctor in 2002, early training and beginning her career in A&E, Dr James’s own family’s experiences of cancer and its treatment led her in 2010 to focus instead on the field of palliative care.
Both her mother and daughter have survived cancer, while Dr James learned and did all she could to help them because of her conviction that there had to be a way of supporting their conventional treatment to give them the best possible chance of getting better.
While she recommends always discussing treatment queries with with conventional oncology and other health practitioners, Dr James believes an integrative, complementary medical approach can offer alternative perspectives, possibilities and solutions.
The event, which also features Gary Craig, the founder of EFT live from his home in California, takes place at the Royal York Hotel, York over the weekend of January 25-26, 2014, with workshops planned for both Friday and Monday, January 24 and 27.
